The 1st
GDST tournament in 2005 attracted 61 children from 12 of the
GDST schools. This year we hope to see all of the Trust schools
represented by their pupils.
This
prestigious tournament is suitable for all ages and abilities,
from beginners to experts. Every competitor will win a prize.
There
will be 5 sections: Under 18, 14, 12, 10, 8.
Trophy
winners retain their awards for one year and also receive
a prize to keep. Medals will be presented to the runners-up.
The intermediate age groups: Under 11, 9, 7 will also receive
prizes.
A
best school performance trophy will also be awarded (details
to be announced on the day).
Girls
who score 50% or more, including any byes, will qualify for
the All England National Gold Finals.
