coaching initiative. These new events will be combined with
tournaments and will be held for all ages and abilities across
the country.
The
first event will be held in Ormskirk on the 30th January.

December) The West Yorkshire Girls' tournament took place
on Sunday in Leeds. All games were of a very high standard
and in addition, a reporter for radio 4 interviewed several
of the girls about women and girls' chess. |
