Four Nations Chess League

The Four Nations Chess League's 10th Season drew to a close on the 26th May. The 4NCL has rapidly become the most prestigeous team event on the British calendar and has successfully expanded to include four divisions and over 500 participants.

Faber Cup

Congratulations to the English Girls Faber Cup team - Robyn Smith, Karen Bradley, Charlotte Wilcox - who won the silver medals at this year's competition in Brno, Czech Republic.

 

BCF Inter-County Under 18 Girls Team Championship

In a cliff hanging finish and by the norrowest 1/2-point margin, Surrey defeated Staffordshire, Sussex and Leicestershire to retain the trophy for the 8th year running.
